Our 3rd nacho stop is The Wood on Wellington.
Total Score: 3.5/5
Portion Value: the Wood Pollo nachos are the priciest on their menu at $14. A good portion size for two adults to share. This option included chicken AND vegetables, a no brainer.
Topping quality: Monterey Jack Cheese, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, chicken and "Wood Red sauce". All good here except for the sauce. More of a tomato sauce than a salsa, it lacked flavor or kick.
Topping distribution: well spread out to all of the chips. Well done!
Chip Quality: these chips were tasty and did not get soggy at all from the red sauce. Some "wood" say they are a damn good chip.
Presentation: single layered chips with a clean spread of cheese, toppings and sauce, no messes here. They looked great.
Overall impression: these were definitely better than our last stop. Tasty nachos but the red sauce could use some more flavor. Still a good nacho!
